Title: Research and Process Analyst

Location: Rockland, MA. area

Start Date: ASAP!

Duration: 6 Month Contract-to-Hire

Hours: Mon-Thurs; 6am-4:30pm (Fridays they will have off)

Requirements/"Must Haves":

• Minimum of a GED

• 2-3 yrs. of quality, research and/or data analysis exp. Can be from any industry

• Exp. with a combination of the following vernier calipers, timers, scales, digital chemical extraction equipment, magnifying glass, ruler, precision thickness gauges

• Strong computer/Excel skills

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

  Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare reports based on trial data and processing conditions to share with management

• Manage lab trials, share results and assist in the scale up to production

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for both new and existing products

• Qualify processes to meet customer specifications by developing a repeatable process for converting raw material to finished product by working with the production team

• Work with test instruments including timers, vernier calipers, scales, digital chemical extraction equipment, ovens, precision thickness gauges, magnifying glass, ruler and various types of test instruments.

• Process samples of finished product to customer specifications; test weight, thickness
