What You Will Do
Manage all Project Engineering aspects of a military gearbox production program
Confidently provide clear, concise communications with customers, peers, and Collins leadership
Lead Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) efforts to identify causes and mitigation plans for issues affecting program productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction
Prepare project estimates and project plans using Earned Value (EVMS) methodology
Manage project schedule (IMS) and budget and present status using EVMS methodology
Plan, direct and oversee activities of an Integrated Project Team (IPT)
Provide customer support for Field Failure investigations
Pursue cost saving opportunities to maximize project profitability
Liaise between project management and planning, project teams, and production line management as necessary to support plant output.
Support Quality investigations as necessary when piece-part issues affect product deliveries
Verify internal processes are being executed to reduce probability of engineering setbacks
Identify and react to project problems and recommend solutions, such as reallocating resources or adjusting project scope or timing
Read and interpret drawings, provide mark ups, and coordinate drawing releases
Documents best practices into engineering standard work
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
