SUMMARY
The aircraft inspector is responsible for performing assigned inspections on civil aviation articles in accordance with technical data provided by the manufacturers for continued airworthiness, service bulletins, service letters, airworthiness directives, government, and industry standard practices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Verifies work performed on aviation articles is performed in compliance with manufacturer data and customer data.
· Performs incoming, primary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections.
· Review maintenance records, documentation, and logbooks to ensure all necessary repairs, inspections, Op-checks, and documentation have been completed in accordance with the current approved/accepted technical data.
· Will be authorized to approve work performed for the return to service. Perform task as assigned relating to the privileges granted under 14 CFR Part 65.
· Always observing company safety requirements while carrying out assigned tasks.
· All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license, required.
· 1-2 Years aviation experience required; 1 years QC experience preferred.
· Associate of Arts (AA) degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school, preferred.
· Have been exercising their airmen privileges and actively engaged, for the last 2 years.
