Our Power & Controls team are looking for an enthusiastic student to be our Development Project Engineer Co-Op. Our Co-Op will support onsite technology and development projects for the gearbox and pump product lines including exposure to the test lab with qualification testing for our newest platforms.

Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August 2025 (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity.

What You Will Do:

• Assist in coordination and overseeing of administrative and operational aspects of ongoing projects within program guidelines while also liaising between project management and planning and line management.

• Help coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract.

• Monitor and assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.

• Participate in engineering activities that further success of overall project objectives.

• Participate in the coordination, preparation and maintenance of project plans, budgets, and staffing requirements to ensure that all action item lists are completed, and project quality expectations are met.

  Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
