Service Parts Supply Management Planner – Contract Role (1 Year with Potential for Extension)

Location: Onsite in Rock Island

Are you ready to contribute to a leading agricultural company that’s committed to continuous improvement and innovation? We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Parts Supply Management Planner to join our team for a one-year contract, with the potential for extension. This role is critical to ensuring the seamless flow of materials and efficient communication with suppliers.

What You’ll Do:

• Supplier Management: Communicate daily with suppliers to manage schedule releases and ensure timely delivery of purchased materials. Expedite and resolve any supply chain issues.

• Logistics Coordination: Implement optimal logistics processes and support material management systems within the unit. Work with suppliers to ensure compliance with logistics requirements, including packaging and delivery methods.

• Inventory Control: Execute inventory plans and utilize material replenishment strategies to achieve inventory and asset management goals. Manage inventory levels to support production plans and reduce backorders.

• Supplier Performance: Collaborate with Supply Management Specialists to monitor and improve supplier performance. Address non-conformances, negotiate solutions to short-term problems, and drive continuous improvement using the Achieving Excellence process.

• Data Management: Utilize SAP and Excel for data tracking, performance measurement, and reporting. Ensure accurate and prompt processing of shipping and receiving documentation.

• Delinquencies

Start Time: Between 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM CST (Full 8-hour shift). Overtime is not planned at this time in the event it's required at a later date, it's typically minimal. Visa Sponsorship: Not available now or in the near future.

Requirements

• Experience with materials planning or buying

• Proficiency in SAP and Excel

• Strong communication skills via email and phone

• High attention to detail and ability to multitask

• Problem-solving skills to address logistics and supplier performance issues
