Perform all functions necessary to produce precast product efficiently and safely as part of a team. Work with various different employees in a team environment to accomplish required tasks.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
Must be able to read a tape measure accurately.
Pour and finish concrete in forms according to quality control standards.
Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
Assisting during the concrete pouring process.
Help equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary.
Perform site clean-up.
Setup and preparation of concrete forms
Pour and finish concrete according to specifications
Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete
Assist in the installation of rebar and mesh reinforcement
Clean and maintain tools and equipment
Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
Other duties as assigned.
Must be 18 years or older
Work Environment:
Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures
Work near moving machinery and equipment
Physical Requirements
Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling 35-50 lbs.
Manual dexterity and the ability to work in an industrial plant environment.
Physically capable of heavy concrete construction for a sustained period of 8-10 hours per day.
Required to wear a hard hat, steel-toed boots, gloves, and safety glasses while working in our plant and/or in the yard.
Schedule
Full-Time
Monday through Friday, with some overtime work required including some Saturdays.
