POSITION VISIONThe Warehouse Trainer is responsible for training and coaching the order/pickers on all Wright Beverage standards and policies as they apply to the order selecting process. This role will report directly to the Operations Manager. Work assignment is full-time, general shift flexibility will be required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS1. Partner with Warehouse Managers to oversee planning, prioritization, and development of the warehouse training program, ensuring the initiatives are consistent with Wright Beverage Standards, business strategy and organization needs.2. Ensure New Hire checklist is complete on all new trainees.3. Support all technical and PIT training.4. Partner with Warehouse Managers on 30-60-90-day reviews.5. Support the development of a Wright Beverage SOP training manual. Ensure all training information and resources are current and content is relevant.6. Maintain records of training activities, analyze training effectiveness, and make continuous refinements as needed.7. Coach, counsel, and inspire employees to not only meet but exceed required performance metrics.8. Review safe lifting techniques and ergonomics with all trainees.9. Conduct weekly coaching sessions with trainees to discuss their progress to goal.10. Provide weekly updates to management team on progress of trainee.11. Perform other support functions as needed such as restocking, loading and yard jockeying.12. Perform order selecting job as needed.13. Support end of shift clean up-procedures.14. Pick up breakage, plastic and maintain housekeeping standards.15. Follow all company policies and procedures.16. Other duties as assigned.

  • MINIMUM/ QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Education:

  • Minimum: High school diploma or GED with forklift & pallet jack certification

  • Skills:

  • Minimum: Ability to lead by example, coach, counsel and motivate employees. Ability to interact with all levels of employees and management. Effective listening, written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. Work with minimal supervision and ability to complete task efficiently. Work well with others and function in a team environment.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum: Warehouse experience or in material handling.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift 20-30 pounds and 175 pounds occasionally; stand or walk up to 10 hours per night; continuous use of hands and arms to reach for product. The employee is frequently required climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS All work is performed inside the confines of the warehouse. Exposure to diesel fumes and extreme temperatures.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS Must have the ability to work additional hours as needed. Use and maintenance of company -issued equipment. Must speak to supervisor to notify him/her any time prior to the beginning of the work shift when calling in sick. Voice mail or e-mail messages are not acceptable.
