Location: Rochester, NY
Shift: 8am-4:30pm (Mon-Fri, some overtime may be required)
Pay: $17-19.00/hr
Duration: This is one year contract position with a possibility of being temp to hire .
Position Details:
Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, and shipping systems or material; verifying and recording outgoing systems or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.
What to Expect:
Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products
Process Receipts
Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, manufacturing and storage areas
Supply the manufacturing stations with materials needed to assemble units
Identify and label materials, and record their locations on warehouse shelves to maintain inventory
Maintain inventory records within MRP system
Prepare products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them
Operate trucks, forklifts, and other equipment to move freight
Perform and report cycle counts
Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guideline

Qualifications for Success:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to lift boxes 10-40 lbs consistently
Experience with a Stand-up fork truck
Warehouse/inventory experience
Desired Skills:
Use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Inventory Management systems (specifically SAP)
Certifications & Licenses
Forklift preferred.
