Description We are in search of a Tax Preparer to join our team based in Rochester, New York. This role is primarily centered around the financial services industry, where you will be required to process tax preparations, utilize various accounting software systems, and provide excellent customer service. This opportunity offers a long term contract employment.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing tax preparations and ensuring all data entries are correct

• Utilizing various accounting software systems such as CCH ProSystem Fx and ADP

• Handling customer queries and providing excellent customer service

• Maintaining accurate records of customer tax preparations

• Managing customer accounts and ensuring all allowances and deductions are properly accounted for

• Utilizing CCH Sales Tax and Drake Tax Software for tax preparations

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary

• Performing various accounting functions as required by the role Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required

• Familiarity with CCH ProSystem Fx is a must

• Working knowledge of CCH Sales Tax is needed

• Competency in Drake Tax Software is expected

• Ability to perform Accounting Functions is crucial

• Understanding of Allowances is necessary

• Excellent Customer Service skills are mandatory

• Proficiency in Data Entry is required

• Knowledge of Deductibles is important
