The Pike Company Senior Manager - Data and Analytics Engineering in Rochester, New York
Pike Construction Services is seeking a skilled Senior Manager, Data and Analytics Engineering to lead our data engineering and analytics efforts as well as developing, designing, and maintaining our business data platform. This role will be instrumental in planning, executing, and managing a scalable data architecture, implementing data pipelines, and delivering actional insights for improved outcomes.
The ideal candidate will:
manage, mentor, and develop a team of business analysts and data engineer while fostering a high-performance work environment, promoting continuous learning and development.
develop and implement secure, scalable, and reliable data architecture that meets the needs and ensure data integrity and accessibility.
lead the development, maintenance, and performance of data pipelines to ensure effective and efficient extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of critical business data.
partner and work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and deliver analytics solutions that align with Pike’s strategic goal.
develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting solutions, providing actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Education/Experience :
Candidates must have Bachelors’ Degree from an accredited institution in related field; and a minimum of 10-15 years’ of experience in data engineering and business analytics, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
Proven experience with Microsoft Azure for cloud-based solutions as well as proficiency in Power BI for data visualization, report creation and dashboard management, required.
Must demonstrate a proven track record of delivering robust data solutions.
Have the ability to lead, communicate and have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire a diverse team.
Strong business aptitude and problem-solving skills, required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have a customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing exceptional service at all times.

The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $135,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
