Qualifications:

  • Certified by NYS as a Registered Nurse

  • Must have at least 6 months of experience as an RN

Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care for students aged 3-21 across three campuses

  • Conduct health assessments, manage chronic conditions, and provide emergency care

  • Administer medications as prescribed by the student's primary care physician

  • Obtain and maintain accurate and current medication orders and parent permissions

  • Provide appropriate and necessary nursing action at time of student injury and help determine communication to the family

  • Record and process all student/staff injuries on the appropriate accident/incident form

  • Instruct all staff in the Health and Safety Procedures and establish appropriate reviews

  • Carry out all procedures established in case of medical emergency, delegating the LPN in crisis situations

  • Monitor the general health and safety standards used within the educational program

  • Administer inoculations to staff and/or children as approved by the Medical Director

Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
