Rochester Academy Charter school is hiring a Temporary Part-Time Bus Driver for the summer. Working hours would typically be 3-4 hours a day and be from 7am-9am and 11:30am-1:30pm. The School Bus Driver shall retain those duties normally associated with that of a School Bus Driver, together with any other duties that may be assigned by the Administrators of RACS. These duties will be designated by RACS’ Athletic Administration. The School Bus Driver shall comply with all written policies, standards, regulations or directives of RACS, and shall devote his or her full business time to such duties. Transport RACS students and staff to and from school Obey all traffic laws Maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus at all times Ensure the safety of all students Assist students with getting on and off the bus as needed Address student behavior in a professional manner as needed to maintain a safe environment Perform inspections of the bus before and after each route Attend safety meetings as required Maintain a CDL drivers license with the state of NY Submit to periodic drug and/or fitness tests when requested
