Position Name: Radiologic Technologist

Employment Type: Direct-Hire & Permanent

Setting: Outpatient

Pay

$27-$40+ an hour (depending on experience)

Shift

• Monday-Friday; Full-Time

• No nights, weekends, or on-call

Qualifications

Required:

• Graduate from a Radiologic Technology program. New Grads welcome!

• ARRT registration.

• NY state licensed.

Preferred:

• Breast experience (must obtain mammography certification within two years from date of hire; if no experience will train and help you obtain ).

• EHR experience.

• PACS experience.

• Professional Stability: 2+ years in recent roles preferred.

Job Summary

• Obtain high-quality images following guidelines from The American College of Radiology and clinic protocols.

• Work independently while being part of a collaborative team.

• Serve as a key contact for patients regarding healthcare needs.

• Performing routine and additional mammography views.

• Reviewing images for quality control before physician interpretation.

• Preparing documentation in the patient's electronic medical record.

• Troubleshoot equipment when necessary.

• Ensure quality patient care and effective communication between patients and physicians.

• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

• Embrace a team-oriented approach within the Technologist department.

• Reports directly to the Technologist/Mammography Department Manager.
