Job Title: QA Administrator - Temporary

General Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Compiles required documentation for and creates customer databooks. This is a customer deliverable that requires a high level of attention to detail.

  • Reviews material test reports, checking them against established requirements to confirm acceptability. Logs accepted materials into database. Requires a high level of attention to detail.

  • Assists in the processing of warranty returns and corrective actions; Collects data to support continuous improvement projects, processing of warranty returns and corrective actions.

  • Prepares nameplates for and maintains log of National Board registration numbers.

  • Prepares and distributes controlled copies of Quality documents including Quality Control Manuals, QC Standards, and other procedures.

  • Other Quality Assurance related tasks and projects and required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Associates Degree in a technical discipline (preferred) or High School diploma with 5 or more years relevant experience.

Prior experience with ASME code; reviewing MTRs; technical documentation in a welding fabrication environment are all desirable.

Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel (required).

Experience with Adobe Acrobat or Nuance/Kofax PDF (required).

Experience with Access is a plus.

Experience programming Python is a plus.

This job is performed primarily in an office environment however does required some periods of time on the factory floor (PPE required). While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is sometimes loud.
