Genesee Regional Bank Project Manager II in ROCHESTER, New York

The Project Manager II is primarily responsible for ensuring the planning, execution, and delivery of the Bank's product and technology projects, within scope, on time, and within budget. This involves coordinating all aspects of assigned projects, from initiation to completion. Key aspects of the position include the following job duties. Lead and manage the full lifecycle of projects, from initiation to completion, within the bank's defined project management framework. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budget. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to ensure alignment and communication throughout project execution. Lead cross-functional projects teams and foster a collaborative environment to collectively achieve project goals. Assign tasks, track progress, and hold team members accountable to timelines and deliverables. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to the Bank's Steering Committee, Project Sponsors, Management, and other Stakeholders. Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies to minimize impact. Proactively resolve issues that arise during the project lifecycle, ensuring projects stay on track. Monitor project budgets and resource allocations. Conduct post-project evaluations and document outcomes, feedback, and lessons learned to improve future project performance. Prepare and distribute monthly project related reporting and other project related materials to the Bank's Technology and Projects Steering Committee. Requires Periodic Presentation to one or more of the following groups: Compliance/Risk Committee Technology & Projects Steering Committee Executive Management The Board of Directors Other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Business related field plus a minimum of 8 years of banking or financial services experience including a minimum of 5 years project management or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Possess strong interpersonal skills including the ability to proactively communicate with and help others, within and across departments. Effective vendor management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. High proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Vizio. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Advanced organizational skills and attention to detail are required. Effective and demonstrated project management skills are a must.
