National Property Management Associates Inc is looking for a Maintenance Associate to undertake the responsibility of upgrading & preserving the good condition and functionality of our Dorsey Garden & Susan Apartments community. A Maintenance Associate is a thorough professional with a practical mind, attention to detail and a strong skill set in a variety of maintenance and renovation tasks. The goal is to maintain & upgrade units, grounds, and common areas in the best possible condition. Must have valid driver's license, have reliable transportation and be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening.

Compensation package includes 25% rent discount for onsite apartment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare units for occupancy

• Paint and complete make readies for occupancy

• Ensure the property maintains a presentable outside appearance

• Perform daily trash pickup

• Assist in general maintenance work as requested

• Perform light checks

• Perform manual repairs when necessary

• Undertake activities of pest control such as spraying insecticide

• Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g., landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.) and pool maintenance

• On call responsibilities as assigned by property manager

  Skills:

• Proven experience as maintenance associate

• Strong working knowledge of general maintenance duties including drying walling, painting, etc.

• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices

• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills

• Good physical condition and strength

• High school diploma or equivalent

  Salary: $19 per hour
