Avangrid Service Company Lead Analyst - Materials Planning in Rochester, New York

The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $76,000- $95.000.

JOB SUMMARY:
Scope of Work - Main duties, settings, geography, reporting
relationships, other relationships:
Develop corporate material forecasts and plans to provide consolidated.

company's investment in materials and equipment by minimizing inventory.

MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Plan, direct and purchase material utilizing planning and forecasting models to ensure an uninterrupted supply of materials. (30%)
2. Analyze and establish order levels for materials to be included on blanket orders, commitment orders and base load programs. Control economic order quantity parameter file. Initiate purchase requisitions
for manual order points and place purchase orders from either existing contracts or through the
competitive bidding process. (30%)
3. Manage and coordinate inventory levels and service levels with a
corporate perspective (30%)
4. Provide direction, guidelines, and training for warehouse persons
regarding MRP and forecasting methodologies (5%)
5. Assist in the preparation of material plans and inventory. Assist in the administration of supplier alliance and supplier contracts. (5%)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience Required:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred. Associate degree with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience or High School/GED with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience required.

• Knowledge of utility operations preferred.
• Knowledge of basic procurement practices.
• Knowledge of Materials Management module (SAP) and/or MRP is desired.

Skills/Abilities:
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Work Planning skills.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word.
