Description
University of Rochester Department of Psychiatry has an opportunity for experienced ECT and/or TMS psychiatrists interested in developing a career in Interventional Psychiatry to join the energetic and dedicated interdisciplinary team in the pursuit of clinical and academic excellence.
This full-time position includes an academic appointment with University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry at the rank of assistant or associate professor, commensurate with experience and accomplishments, and ample opportunities for faculty development within a robust tradition of mentorship. Teaching and clinical supervision of psychiatric residents and fellows, medical students and other trainees is an integral part of this position. The position will include a leadership role serving as the Medical Director of our Interventional Psychiatry services in addition to supplying clinical services.
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
Board certified in Psychiatry or board eligible with fellowship training in a Psychiatry sub-specialty
Training & experience in rendering ECT and TMS services
Active NYS license prior to start
Active and unrestricted DEA certification prior to start

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries.
