Responsibilities

Exciting opportunity to work in a fast paced, state-of-the art environment providing specialized patient care to pediatric and adult inpatient and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures (biopsies, embolization’s, ablations, angiography, drain placements and other image guided procedures)! This role includes preparing patients, intra-procedure monitoring and post procedure recovery including PACU and extended stay (23-hour). IR is an essential part of the critical embolization response team for trauma patients. This role requires critical thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced/team-oriented environment. The IR RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient centered care. New grads welcome! ACLS and PALS required within 1 year.

Qualifications

Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing.

Level I

Applicants will have less than 6-12 months of RN experience.

Level II

Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $37.00 - $49.31 Hourly

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Schedule: FT position available, D/E/N, holidays and weekends per unit needs, Mon-Saturday, on-call overnight and on-call weekend requirements (must live within 30 minutes of hospital for on-call)
