Join Our Team as a Diesel Mechanic in Rochester, NY!

Position: Diesel Truck Fleet Mechanic

Location: Rochester, NY

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11am - 7pm

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week (Overtime available)

Salary: $25 - $34 per hour, based on experience

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $3000

Additional Bonuses: Attendance, Safety, and performance-based

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in diesel trucks and heavy equipment.

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections.

  • Repair and replace brakes, steering, engines, and electrical systems.

  • Use diagnostic tools and maintain detailed service records.

  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years experience with heavy-duty diesel trucks, including trash pickup trucks, roll-off containers, and flatbeds.

  • Own tools and reliable transportation.

  • Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.

  • Welding experience is a plus but not required.
