Your Opportunity

Our Rochester NY Transportation and Infrastructure team is looking for an Intern/Co-op for the Summer 2025.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers in the preparation of contract documents and reports for a variety of civil and structural engineering projects ranging highways and interchanges to bridges and toll plazas.

  • Responsibilities include computer aided design and drafting, checking drawings and calculations, quantity take-offs, simple structural calculations, and field inspection.

  • Assist construction inspection staff with the implementation of contract documents for a city street improvement project.

  • Responsibilities will include field observations, inspections, daily reporting, quantity takeoffs, and communications.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Minimum requirements include some exposure to CAD Design programs and current good academic standing in accredited engineering school.

Education and Experience

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters Engineering Program

Typical office environment, with some field that may include exposure to inclement weather.

Pay transparency laws require employers to provide the following information for positions that may be in the following jurisdiction(s):

Salary Range(s):

  • $21.91 - $32.21 Min/Max Pay Range(s) for postings located in NYC/NY

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
