Description
Velocitii is looking for a dynamic, qualified Business Development Specialist to extend our reach through expert discovery and exploration of new and untapped business opportunities and relationships.
Successful Velocitii Business Development team members are tenacious hunters, trusted to be the front of the company, producing and driving new business. Skilled in the areas of sales and marketing, this individual will join and inspire a team of ambitious go-getters to achieve company goals.
Responsibilities:
Develop strategic plans for account identification, penetration and growth
Gain in depth understanding of Velocitii’s brand and value proposition
Effectively present Velocitii to prospects and convert to a formal overview and capabilities discussion
Using in depth BPO industry trends and specific Velocitii service offerings, develop and execute go-to market strategies that secure net new business for the organization
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
Partner with operations to ensure alignment on service capabilities
Develop solutions that meet the clients needs and are aligned with Velocitii’s core competencies
Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Develop relationships with prospect executives gaining understanding of their business needs
Work with Brand Manager to develop specific campaigns within target markets
Respond in a timely manner to inbound calls, email inquiries and web leads
Develop, maintain and update an accurate prospect pipeline
Achieve targeted goals including outbound calls, qualified leads/opportunities and revenue
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
3-5 years sales & marketing experience in service industy, preferably in BPO industry
Familiarity with standard BPO KPIs i.e. average attempt per lead, volume of calls/day, appointments/week, qualification of opportunities, etc.
Strong active listening skills
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
Ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes
Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational, planning, prioritization and interpersonal skills
Ability to creatively research companies and prospects to develop effective sales strategy
Technology and/or healthcare industry experience preferred
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
