Our client, a growing mid-sized law firm in Rochester, NY, is seeking an attorney to join their ever-growing legal team. They look to hire bright individuals who are team players with a strong work ethic, enthusiasm for providing excellent client service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Firm offers a collaborative and collegial environment. The firm's headquarters is in Rochester, and they have a few other satellite offices.

We are seeking an Associate to join our Corporate & Business Practice Group. This position will be responsible for handling general corporate legal matters including mergers and acquisitions, financial/securities offerings, governance and compliance issues, and other business transactions.

Corporate Attorney:

This position will be responsible for the following:

• handling general corporate legal matters

• mergers and acquisitions

• financial/securities offerings

• governance and compliance issues

• and other business transactions.

• Experience working on business Acquistion and sales.

• Ties to western New York helpful.

  Requirements

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment, to prioritize client matters and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent through each task performed

• Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

• Corporate & commercial experience preferred

• First-rate academic credentials and references

• Must possess analytical, legal research and writing skills

• Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
