Salary Range or Pay Grade

Depending on Experience $75,000-$140,000

Description

The Department of Neuroscience is seeking a full-time educator in the disciplines of anatomy, histology, and embryology. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the content and format of the first-year medical Human Structure and Function course (HSF110). The strongest candidates will have completed that course or equivalent. Comfort with teaching in a variety of settings including lecture, small and large group laboratory exercises, and in problem-based learning formats is essential.

Qualifications

A Ph.D. degree in the neural and/or anatomical sciences is required along with formal experience in human cadaveric dissection in a medical doctoral educational program or allied health professional curriculum. Experience teaching in neuroscience and/or neuroanatomy courses at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels is desirable.
