Description
The Department of General Dentistry of the Eastman Institute for Oral Health (EIOH), at the University of Rochester Medical Center, and the Department of Dentistry in the School of Medicine and Dentistry, is seeking to hire a faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry. Responsibilities include direct patient care, teaching and supervising clinical and research activities of residents in the EIOH Complex Care and Special Care dental clinics. Direct patient care may also be provided in the Operating Room. Medical staff faculty appointments required at Eastman Dental, Strong Memorial Hospital, and Highland Hospital.
Qualifications
Education: DDS/DMD or equivalent degree and post-doctoral General Practice Residency or Advanced Education in General Dentistry.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in hospital-based (or affiliate) practice
License/Certification Required: NYS Dental license eligibility. Must be credentialed with approved DOP per medical staff guidelines.
Skills: As delineated in credentials and DOP
Post-offer health assessment is required

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience, and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
