Description

The NeuroMedicine Intensive Care Unit (NMICU) program at University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking to grow the program by recruiting an additional neurocritical care board eligible or certified Neurointensivist. The NMICU is a 12 bed unit, with the ability to overflow to other ICUs. Our unit patient population includes high-acuity cerebrovascular disease, status epilepticus, traumatic brain and spine injury, CNS malignancy, and many other pathologies.

Qualifications

We are seeking a Neurocritical Care Assistant Professor. Qualified candidates will be BC/BE in Anesthesiology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Internal Medicine or Emergency Medicine. The candidate will join an active clinical practice in a collegial environment with ample opportunities for research, teaching, and academic advancement in addition to neurocritical care fellowship training.

The referenced pay range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries. Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
