Avangrid Service Company Analyst - Service Coordination in Rochester, New York

Job Title: Analyst - Service Coordination (Hydro Procurement)Location: Rochester, NYWork type: Office (Full-time)The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience, ranging from $79,792 to $88,740.Job Summary Responsible for supporting the Project Team and Avangrid Procurement in the preparation and management of RFPs (Request for Proposals) and tenders. Involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure efficient procurement processes, compliance with company policies, and effective management of suppliers. The Analyst - Service Coordination will play a crucial role in contract negotiations, procurement documentation, and supplier management to facilitate seamless project execution and resource allocation.Responsibilities:A. Preparation and Management of RFPs and Tenders:Assist management and supervision with preparation of company-mandated procurement documents. These documents serve the purpose of informing upper management and the internal procurement department of upcoming and pending procurements, providing technical evaluation of procurements in process, providing justification for purchases (multiple tenders), historical comparisons, and change order processing.Coordinate with PMO, Project Managers, Managers, Engineers, and Field Construction Managers on development and issuance of RFPs.Coordinate and attend Pre-Bid meetings, as needed.Assemble and coordinate technical clarifications and responses with the project team (Engineers, Project Managers, etc).B. Procurement Process and Supplier Management:Coordinate with Legal during contract negotiations and execution.Generate purchase requisitions and purchase orders for framework purchases, competitively bid procurements (multiple tenders) and delegated purchases.Manage procurement database in 3P for upcoming and ongoing hydro procurements.Manage suppliers working with Avangrid, including setting up new vendors as needed.Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies.Coordinate with Project Schedulers and Project Managers to manage new and ongoing procurements and provide target procurement milestones as related to the project schedules.Coordinate with the Document Controller to make sure all appropriate project procurement documents are stored in the document control database.Verify availability of project funds as related to current and future purchases.Must be able to make field visits on occasion.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of Supply Chain and/or Procurement experience.Preferred Qualifications:Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and / or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).SAP and Ariba iBuy experience.Experience in the functional area under which it will be contracted: Substations, Transmission & Distribution, Gas-Hydro and OSG.Behavioral Competencies: Develop self & others Empower to grow Collaborate and share Be a role model Focus to achieve results Be agileCompany:ROCHESTER GAS & ELEC CORPMobility InformationPlease note that any applicant who is not a citizen of the country of the vacancy will be subject to compliance with the applicable immigration requirements to legally work in that countryAVANGRID's employment practices and policies are geared to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
