Description We are opening an opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk role at our location in Rochester, New York. The primary function of this role is to ensure all customer accounts are up-to-date, process payments, and maintain precise records of all accounts, transactions, and invoices. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process payments made via cash, credit cards, and checks, and reconcile any discrepancies.

• Maintain and update customer records, including tracking discounts and special payment arrangements.

• Prepare and submit invoices to customers, ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of operations.

• Regularly review accounts receivables and initiate contact with delinquent customers to secure payment.

• Work in collaboration with the sales and customer service departments to resolve any disputes over invoices or payments.

• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal guidelines.

• Prepare various reports detailing unpaid invoices, customer changes, and payment discrepancies.

• Provide support to the finance team during audits or internal reviews.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation processes

• Demonstrable competence in Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Experience with Billing procedures and operations

• Familiarity with Cash Applications and Collections

• Proven ability in handling Commercial Collections

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with QuickBooks accounting software

• Strong understanding of Debit Credit operations
