University of Rochester 41600 - UR Medicine Cardiac Care - Adult Progressive Care Unit - Assistant Nurse Manager, Inpatient in Rochester, New York

Responsibilities

Exciting opportunity to impact the health of pre and post procedural cardiac and vascular patients by functioning as clinical leader within the context of the multidisciplinary team of health care professionals. Responsibilities will include clinical leadership and oversight for all nursing practice functions on the floor. In addition, the individual will assume a leadership role in educating, coordinating, communicating and allocating unit resources, as well as providing support and leadership to unit based staff. Ideal candidates must exhibit strong critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills, and the ability to demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment. BS degree required. Recent acute care experience required

Qualifications

Requires a BSN or matriculation in a BSN program from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 5 years or RN experience. This position is a member of the unit/service leadership team, demonstrates the ability to develop standards of care, unit/service goals, and objectives, and provides consultation and expertise in delivering patient care.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $45.22- $59.75

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job¿s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
