Job Title: Environmental Engineer

Job Description

Seeking an Account Manager for a full-time opportunity. This individual will travel to various client locations during the week and spend some time in the office. Responsibilities include visiting client facilities prior to construction (remodels or additions) to perform air monitoring and sampling. Additionally, they will assist existing clients (manufacturing, production, office buildings, etc.) with EH&S checks. This role also involves managing all documentation required by general contractors.

Hard Skills

  • Construction experience (2,000 hours) in various roles such as demo, safety, carpentry, farm labor, etc.

  • Bachelor's degree in Physical or Life Sciences, Engineering, or Architecture with 500 hours of work experience

  • Currently enrolled in one of the above programs seeking an internship with 2,000 hours of relevant work experience

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Self-motivated

  • Organized

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Rochester, Minnesota.

Work Environment

This role involves working with other clients and contractors on job sites. Individuals must be self-motivated and organized to track all testing and paperwork required. Depending on the job and project size, work may be performed alone or with another individual from IEA. Some overnight travel may be required, with paid travel time and expenses covered, including meals.
