Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Paid Time Off Vision Insurance Basic Life Insurance Tuition Reimbursement Employer Paid Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability Adoption Assistance Plan Qualifications: At least one year of restaurant or retail experience Demonstrated ability to adhere to and monitor all requirements related to food and beverage safety Job Responsibilities: Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Maintains a clean, appropriately-stocked coffee shop and organized workspace so that team members can locate resources and products as needed. Prepares or serves hot/cold/blended beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, or tea. Serves prepared foods, such as muffins, pastries, or bagels. Cleans and sanitizes work areas, utensils, or equipment. Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning. Takes customer order and processes payments. Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the core values and mission of OMC. Maintains a friendly, calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep coffee shop operating to standards and to set a positive example for the shift team. Anticipates customer and coffee shop needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues. Communicates information to manager so that the coffee shop will efficiently operate to OMC standards. Assists with new team member training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed. Contributes to positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in team member morale and performance and communicating them to coffee shop manager. Delivers exceptional customer service to all customers by acting with a Customer Comes First attitude and connecting with the customer. Discovers and responds to customer needs. Follows OMC operational policies and procedures, practicing safe work habits ensuring the safety of all coffee shop team members during each shift. Serves as an ambassador for OMC.
