Nature of Work

The Business Solutions Coordinator will leverage Microsoft 365 tools and services to address business needs and improve organizational productivity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 applications and services, as well as experience in developing organizational brand templates and technology-focused training programs.

Pay

The 2024 starting salary range is $85,306 to $100,361 with advancement to $125,451.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The work below is representative of the scope of work performed within this job classification. Individual job duties will vary based on work assignment.

*Microsoft 365 Solutions

Design, implement, and support Microsoft 365 solutions tailored to meet business needs, leveraging tools such as SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Platform, and Exchange Online.

  • Lead the deployment and adoption of Microsoft 365 solutions, providing technical expertise and support to end-users.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and analyze the best strategies to meet their needs.

  • Stay updated on the latest features and capabilities of Microsoft 365, exploring new functionalities, and evaluating their potential impact on organizational operations.

  • Integrate Microsoft 365 applications with other systems and platforms within the organization's IT ecosystem, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability between different systems to support end-to-end business processes.

  • Engage with Microsoft or third-party vendors as needed to obtain support, escalate issues, or explore additional solutions and services that complement Microsoft 365 offerings.

    *Organizational Technology Training

  • Assess training needs and develop technology-focused training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

  • Design and deliver training sessions on technology topics such as Microsoft 365 applications, digital tools, and best practices.

  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate end-users on how to effectively utilize Microsoft 365 tools and services.

  • Customize training programs to meet the specific needs of different departments or job roles within the organization, ensuring relevance and effectiveness.

  • Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback from participants, and adjust as needed to improve outcomes.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external training providers to optimize training delivery and maximize impact.

    *Graphic Design and Brand Specialist

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity, aligning with organizational values and objectives.

  • Enhance and maintain brand guidelines, including logo usage, color palette, typography, and tone of voice, to ensure brand integrity and recognition.

  • Produce various design templates for organizational use such as brochures, flyers, posters, infographics, presentations, and digital assets (e.g., social media graphics, website banners) to support marketing and communication efforts for the programs.

  • Work with external vendors, such as printing companies or freelance designers, to outsource specific design tasks or projects, ensuring that vendor deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered according to agreed-upon timelines.

    *Provide maintenance and ongoing support

  • Troubleshoot functional issues and recommend appropriate solutions independently or with service providers as needed.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of solutions and create enhancements to conform with changing requirements.

  • Support ongoing maintenance and upgrades as needed.

    Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

    *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, graphic design or closely related field from an accredited four-year college or university AND three (3) years of full-time experience designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft 365 solutions;

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience in developing and delivering end-user training programs, preferably in a technology-related field.

  • Demonstrated proficiency of graphic design, branding principles and experience in brand management.

  • Possess or ability to obtain certifications or training in Microsoft business applications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform App Maker Associate or Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals
