Job Title: Industrial Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician with an associate's degree or equivalent experience and 1-5 years of related experience. The ideal candidate will have basic electrical skills, be Arc Flash trained, and possess knowledge of solid-state circuitry, as well as 110V, 220V, 440V, and 480V systems. The candidate must be able to lift up to 90 lbs and demonstrate proficiency in reading electrical schematics, diagnosing problems with programmable controllers, and operating electrical testing and machining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and safety documents

• Diagnose problems with programmable controllers on equipment

• Operate electrical testing equipment and machining equipment

• Complete work orders and required paperwork

• Perform preventative electrical repairs and troubleshooting

• Install and maintain electrical systems, including PLC troubleshooting and programming

• Use hand tools, ohm meters, and other test equipment

• Comply with all safety policies and procedures in accordance with OSHA rules and regulations

• Obtain and maintain a valid forklift license

• Learn and apply basic computer skills, including the SAP Maintenance Module

Essential Skills

• Associates degree or equivalent experience

• 1-5 years of related experience

• Basic electrical skills

• Arc Flash trained

• Knowledge of solid-state circuitry and various voltage systems (110V, 220V, 440V, and 480V)

• Ability to lift up to 90 lbs

• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics

• Diagnosing problems with programmable controllers

• Operating electrical testing and machining equipment

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure

• Understanding of proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume

• Valid forklift license

• Ability to learn and apply computer skills

• Compliance with safety policies and OSHA regulations

• Ability to expand knowledge and skills through training

You will be working in a frozen food manufacturing facility with both warm and cold temperatures. The environment is clean and requires gowning up to maintain hygiene and safety standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Robbinsville Township, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $63000.00 - $87000.00/yr.
