Aston Carter Contract Analyst in Roanoke, Virginia

Our client in Roanoke VA is immediately hiring for a Contract Analyst to join their team. These are full-time contract positions. Pay will vary based on years of experience. Qualified candidates will have an interview scheduled within 48 hours of resume submission.

Job Requirements

  • MUST have previous purchase order or contracts experience.

  • Understanding of commercial terms, contracts and able to read commercial document/understand the terms.

  • Manufacturing industry experience great to have for an understanding on what they are looking for.

  • Basic understanding of commercial terms such as payment terms, progress payments, freight (Inco terms), as well as basic commercial contract language.

Job Description

  • Will be auditing approximately 1200 purchase orders (all retrospective).

  • Individuals will go through purchase orders audit for congruences with manufacturing information system.

  • Will look for any discrepancies between the purchase orders and the manufacturing info system referring to proposals and contracts to identify.

  • Auditing the contracts/reviewing and finding the issues but not solving/fixing. will be brought to the contracts team.

  • Comparing Purchase Orders with manufacturing information system for congruence.

  • When there is not congruence between purchase orders and the manufacturing information system referring to proposals and contracts to identify discrepancies.

  • Auditing historical purchase orders for congruence with manufacturing information system.
