Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fabrication Programmer to join our team. As a Fabrication Programmer, you will be responsible for creating and implementing CNC programs for our fabrication processes. Your main goal will be to ensure that our fabrication processes are efficient, accurate, and meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that all programs are optimized for maximum productivity and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize software such as Sigmanest, Autopool, and Trutops Boost to create and optimize fabrication programs.
  • Develop and implement programs for laser cutting and bending operations on a press brake.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain and update programming documentation and records.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
  • Complete continuous improvement projects in the fabrication department to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Train operators on the proper use of machines and software.
  • Collect and analyze data to support process improvements and decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fabrication Programmer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in using Sigmanest, Autopool, and Trutops Boost software.
  • Strong knowledge of laser cutting and bending on a press brake.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
