Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at a large General Motors facility in Roanoke, Indiana. This candidate will be responsible for handling all maintenance tasks in the facility that are not related to the production line. You will receive work orders throughout the day from your supervisor and will use an industrial golf cart to navigate the 5,000,000 square foot facility to complete these tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical/electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures.

  • Service and respond to issues with electrical systems.

  • Connect wires to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment.

  • Replace switches and fuses.

Essential Skills

  • 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience or a Journeyman's Card.

  • Electrical troubleshooting experience.

  • Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.

  • Self-motivated.

Work Environment

Available shifts include: 2:30pm - 11:00pm (Tuesday - Saturday), 10:30pm - 7:00am (Tuesday - Saturday).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roanoke, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.29 - $36.29
