Job Description:

What You’ll Do

Responsible for verifying that operating units are compliant with all appropriate local, state and federal regulations through execution of the compliance testing program, establishment of testing plans, collaboration with business management to identify compliance issues and corrective action plans, and preparation of compliance report to communicate the scope and severity of concerns identified to the applicable level of management. The role is responsible for managing (directly and indirectly) compliance department personnel, including training.

How You’ll Do It

  • Collaborate with various level of management within the areas of responsibilities, including the risk functions within the 1st Line of Defense. Evaluate and test the adequacy of business processes and practices with respect to risks, controls and regulatory requirement identifying gaps and issues.

  • Manage activities of Compliance Testing staff (direct/indirect), including training, and is responsible for the overall integrity and quality of the work product.

  • Create and maintain testing workpapers and supporting documentation. Draft written reports regarding compliance testing results.

  • Monitor and validate status of corrective actions taken by business partners to remediate concerns.

  • Maintain a high level of awareness and knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements. Support Compliance Management in developing, implementing, and maintaining an enterprise-wide Compliance Program and culture of compliance.

Qualifications You’ll Need

The Basics

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Management, Finance, Law, or related field.

  • 6+ years in Compliance, Financial Services, Risk, and/or BSA/AML

  • In Lieu of Education 10+ years Compliance, Financial Services, Risk, BSA/AML or Related including Testing, Quality Assurance or Audit

  • Travel up to 10% of the time.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • 8+ years years Testing, Quality Assurance, Risk & Controls, and/or Audit

  • 1+ years Management experience

  • CRCM

  • CAMS Certification or similar certification.

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $91,000.00 to $153,400.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
