Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in the manufacturing industry for an Accounting Specialist located in Riverside, Missouri. In this role, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and handling both accounts payable and receivable.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process invoices and keep records up-to-date

• Handle accounts payable tasks to ensure all financial transactions are executed properly

• Manage accounts receivable activity and follow up on outstanding invoices

• Conduct account reconciliation tasks for incoming and outgoing transactions

• Effectively utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial reporting tasks

• Resolve billing issues and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary Requirements • Proficiency in account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records

• Experience in handling accounts payable (AP) to manage and process outgoing payments effectively

• Familiarity with accounts receivable (AR) to oversee and regulate incoming payments from external parties

• Ability to manage billing processes, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing

• Proficient in data entry tasks, ensuring quick and accurate input of information into relevant databases

• Experience in invoice processing, including verifying and posting invoices for payments

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for managing and manipulating financial data, creating spreadsheets and reports.
