Insight Global Workstation PC Technician (Senior) in Riverside, California

Job Description

A large healthcare company is looking for a candidate that will support a robust Microsoft based network running Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365, MS Teams, etc. . The ideal candidate will need PC, desktop, laptop and tablet expertise in order to perform the duties of this position. Some main responsibilities include but are not limited to: receiving assets, moving equipment within and/or between facilities, staging equipment for build/image activity, interviewing clients as part of pre-deployment asset discovery, executing equipment replacement activity, updating asset management systems to reflect work performed, and monitoring daily activity. Additionally the candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining PC hardware/software, troubleshooting network usage and computer peripherals, performing system backups and data recovery, resolving network communication problems independently, disk capacity monitoring and network security, and various administration tasks. We are looking for someone that is comfortable interacting with clients face to face on a daily basis and has excellent customer service.

Skills and Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years' experience with PC support, including deployment.

Minimum 3 years' experience with PC hardware troubleshooting and repair.

Well-versed in installing windows, software, applications.

Minimum 3 years' experience with direct client interaction and proven customer service.

Experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining the quality of results.

Experience managing incoming and outgoing assets and prepare systems for deployment.

Experience developing a multi-week deployment plan.

Extensive experience in profile management and data transfer.

Expert user of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).

Known for working efficiently without supervision and can lead others (may lead refresh team activities). Mac experience is a plus. null
