People Ready Skilled Trades is looking for a Mid-level to Journeyman Welder who has vast experience in TIG Welding working with Aluminum for a Shop located in Riverside, Ca. Must be available to Start immediately. Position is long term/ temp to hire and works full time Monday to Friday 7-3:30 pm with some overtime daily and occasional Saturdays. Must have your own welding mask.

Note: The hourly rate for this position is $27 - $30 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

• Welding aluminum components using MIG and TIG welding techniques.

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.

• Fabricating custom parts and components.

• Inspecting and testing welds for quality assurance.

• Ensuring that welds meet industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Two years of experience in welding and certification in one or more welding processes submerge arc/diametric certification preferred

• Knowledge with measurements and takeoffs for pipe/structure components

• Verifiable references to confirm your professional skills and experience

• Strong work ethic

• Able to focus on details at all times

• Able to lift 50 pounds in order to load and unload materials as well as carry needed tools to and from the jobsite

• Able to work in varying inside and/or outside temperatures, which may include heat (temperatures above 100 degrees) or cold (temperatures below 32 degrees), in addition to fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, etc.
