Cabela's Retail Receiving Clerk - Resort in Ridgedale, United States
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Retail Distribution Clerk is responsible for checking in, ticketing, & preparing retail product for delivery to multiple shops. This position reports to the Retail Logistics Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Monday -Friday, Morning/Daytime hours. Occasional overtime opportunities
· Ability to work independently
· Daily use of Run IT (Inventory system)
· Works closely with the accounting department to ensure all information has been provided to ensure prompt payment of invoices.
· Establishes positive & valuable working relationships with admins and merchandisers.
Needed Skills:
Data entry, organizational, time management, multi-tasking, attention to detail, problem solving
· Assists other Associates within the dept as needed.
· Physical ability to stand for extended periods; Bend, stoop and kneel
· Dependable and reliable
· ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

· Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Preferred Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent in __ (if applicable)

The ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.
· Basic computer skills and working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products.
· Writing - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
· Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
· Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
· Clerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
· Analytical/Critical Thinking - The ability to gather and organize information using a logical and systematic process; recognize patterns and relationships in complex data; examine data to identify implications, problems and draw appropriate conclusions; generate alternative solutions to problems; evaluate strengths, weaknesses and consequences of alternative solutions and approaches to solving problems.
