Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller in Ridge NY who is proficient in NETSMART/MYEVOLE Billing systems for Medicaid. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of medical billing, including claim submission, posting payments, and managing account balances.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize NETSMART/MYEVOLE billing software to create, submit, and track Medicaid billing claims.

• Responsible for accurate data entry into the electronic health record (EHR) system, and ensuring all required documentation is completed for quality billing processes.

• Interpret medical codes and apply corresponding ICD and CPT coding requirements for the preparation of invoices.

• Work collaboratively with healthcare providers and insurance companies to address and resolve specific billing queries.

• Manage patient account balances, including coordinating payment plans and identifying delinquent accounts.

• Perform regular audits on patient accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with billing procedures.

• Keep updated on current Medicaid billing regulations, coding changes, and procedural requirements.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years experience in medical billing, specifically with Medicaid.

• Proficiency in MYEVOLE and NETSMART software is essential.

• Knowledge of medical coding, including ICD-10 and CPT codes.

• Excellent data entry, numerical, and analytical skills.

• Strong understanding of healthcare documentation and patient confidentiality laws.

• Great communication skills, both verbal and written.
