Role Description : The Workplace Portfolio Lead will be responsible for portfolio management, client management, operations, amenities, services, and financial and vendor management. In this role, you will report to the Director, Facilities and work in the Richmond, VA location.

Responsibilities:

Client Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with business line leadership and key contacts

  • Serves as a conduit for strategic information impacting space demand and needs

  • Assist in the creation and management of site councils to discuss space topics, growth, and needs

Portfolio Management

  • Oversee certain aspects of assigned region and associated staff

  • Manage space plans and restacks based on integrated requirements from stakeholder groups

  • Build and maintain relationships with landlords and property management staff at all locations

  • Work with lease admin to ensure leases are proactively managed and decisions are driven well in advance of expirations

Operations & Services

  • Manage site-level operations are in place and run smoothly, including janitorial, facilities management, mail, etc

  • Oversee workplace services, including food (coffee, catering, snacks), fitness, conferencing and events

  • Assist in the training and development of distributed CRE staff to ensure onsite support at all scaled locations

  • Manage special projects as needed

Design and Construction

  • Partner with construction team on projects when necessary

  • Serve as a conduit with business leaders to update on progress, and to ensure space is delivered as expected

Financial/Procurement Management

  • Manages internal and contracted services budgets

  • Reconciles budgets monthly and submits funding request

  • Manages purchase orders and invoice approval process

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College

  • A track record of commitment to prior employers

  • 5+ years experience managing corporate real estate specific to workplace and amenities

  • Experience collaborating and communicating with internal business clients and external vendors

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations at a high-growth company

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
