Robert Half Systems Administrator in Richmond, Virginia
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will be part of our IT team, ensuring the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines. Your main duties will involve system administration, network management, and customer service in a corporate IT setting.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of information systems that support core organizational functions.
• Apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues, including account setup and network configuration.
• Support computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
• Apply knowledge of IT security principles to maintain system integrity.
• Utilize Microsoft Office 365 for system administration tasks.
• Work with various brands of Network Switching / Firewall and Router Architecture.
• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
• Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use.
• Maintain and administer Active Directory, SharePoint, VMware, Power Automate/Apps, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Cisco Technologies is essential.
• Demonstrated experience with Citrix Technologies is required.
• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies is a must.
• Working knowledge of Dell Technologies is critical.
• Experience with Firewall Technologies is necessary.
• Understanding of AB Testing is important.
• Competency in Active Directory is required.
• Proficiency in Backup Technologies is necessary.
• Knowledge of Cluster Analysis will be beneficial.
