Summary of Position
We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior Product Manager to lead the development, growth, and management of our online, live, and hybrid cybersecurity training solutions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, senior leadership, user experience, marketing, and event management, to deliver industry-leading training that enhances cybersecurity skills for professionals and organizations. We are looking for candidates with relevant product management experience who have technical understanding, customer empathy, strong execution capability, and a track record of delivering high impact products in an agile environment. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, cross-functional influencer, analytical, objective-driven professional with proven problem-solving skills and a strong work ethic. Prior product management experience in online learning, online training, education technology, cybersecurity, or publishing is required.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Execution
Define and lead an inspiring vision, product strategy, and feature set for the online, live and hybrid training experiences that align with organizational goals and objectives.
Own the product roadmap for SANS OnDemand, our flagship online learning platform and mobile app.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers and engineers to implement innovative training content and delivery platform solutions.
Deliver successful product releases, measured by KPIs that you define and track.
Own, groom and prioritize the product backlog in JIRA for product releases and innovation opportunities.
Work closely with the product management team and the rest of the cross-functional teams - product development, content management, and operations teams - to deliver scalable platform capabilities and course production workflows.
Lead end-user research in partnership with the UX/UI design team to understand customer pain points and gather insights that result in new and enhanced product features and experiences.
Create and prioritize product requirements and user stories that are actionable for the development team to implement.
Establish, conduct, and mature consistent discovery and feedback channels, directly with students and enterprise customers.
Partner with marketing and sales enablement to effectively develop and deliver product launch deliverables, marketing assets, and sales tool kits.
Own and coordinate all product release activities, timelines, and project plans to bring new products and feature enhancements to market.
Identify opportunities based on research, industry trends and best practices, to drive innovation and new business opportunities.
Provide regular updates to leadership on product performance and strategic initiatives.

Skills, Experience and Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
Minimum of 7–10 years of product management experience building and launching user-facing products.
A least 3 years as product manager in cybersecurity, education technology, or related fields.
5+ years of experience working with Agile software practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and execution skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead and solve problems across organizational boundaries to deliver awesome user experiences and game changing solutions.
Proven track record of working closely with both customers and internal stakeholders, practicing active listening, and taking a customer-focused approach to strategic prioritization.
Passion for the customer, able to imagine new ways to solve problems and to deliver best in class training experiences both online and in person.
Drive and desire to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes.
Expertise in creating and managing product requirements in JIRA and Confluence
Ability to interpret data, generate insights, and drive data-informed decisions.
Comfortable working in a virtual organization with some travel
Fluent in English, particularly in written communications
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, certifications, and training methodologies.
Experience in Mobile App product development.
Pragmatic Marketing Certification
Reporting Relationships
This position reports to the Director of Product Management, Training and has no direct reports.
Work Environment
This position is full time remote. Average 25-35% travel to meetings and events required along with the ability to work US/EST business hours.

The base salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $175,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and years of experience. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
