What you’ll do

• Lead the team responsible for forecasting, planning, and executing Steam, Gas, and Generator equipment repair projects.

• Collaborate with the GE Vernova volume optimization and commercial teams to align on strategic direction, shop load, and future capacity.

• Direct long-term fulfillment planning at the Repair Services Center (RSC), implementing solutions that standardize processes and improve customer satisfaction.

• Oversee the Shipping and Receiving team to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of equipment.

What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar concentration

• 3+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing or repair operations

• Proven experience in low-volume, high-mix repair or production scheduling.

• Demonstrated experience with process improvement

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future

• Must work 100% onsite at the GE Richmond, VA Repair Center

What will make you stand out

• Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA)

• Experience with Steam Turbine, Gas Turbine, or Generator repair

• Expertise in creating and implementing process standards, including Lean methodologies.

• Experience in people leadership, talent development, and performance management

• You have experience with customer facing roles

• You have experience managing projects with tight deadlines and high stakes

• You have a high sense of urgency and performance mindset

Pay Transparency

The base pay range for this position is $115,000 - 137,000.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. ​ This posting is expected to close on February 15, 2025 , or thereafter.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
