Our client, a well-known and established company located in Newport News, is seeking an experienced Project Manager for their office in Richmond. The successful candidate will manage all project activities with the project superintendent and project team. This role involves overseeing a full addition building project at Hampton Sydney College in Farmville, VA. The Project Manager will also manage and oversee all finances and contract documents, prepare and maintain the project schedule in conjunction with the superintendent and subcontractors.
Responsibilities
Manage all project activities with the project superintendent and project team.
Oversee the project's finances and contract documents.
Prepare and maintain the project schedule in conjunction with the superintendent and subcontractors.
Coordinate project efforts and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
Handle change orders, RFIs, and project coordination for commercial construction projects.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
Experience managing projects valued at $20 million or more.
B.S. in Building Construction Management or a related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, BlueBeam, and various scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, Phoenix).
Experience in construction estimating, accounting, and document administration.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with COINS, Autodesk Viewers, and SharePoint preferred.
Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Excellent listening skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Active participation in a team environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $130000.00
