Actalent Project Architect in Richmond, Virginia

Job Title: Project ArchitectJob Description

Focus on Construction Administration (on-site and assisting with RFIs) for multi-family housing projects. Seeking talented and motivated Architectural Designer with strong visual graphics and technical drawing skills to join our office. This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional growth in a highly collaborative studio environment while assisting on all aspects of architectural design, from client presentations to construction administration. The position involves working with diverse teams on a wide range of potential project types, including learning environments, housing, adaptive reuse, as well as civic and cultural institutions.

Hard Skills

  • Construction Administration support for a 43-Unit Multi-Family project in Richmond, VA (20 hours a week)

  • Design and PA support for MF project run out of the Baltimore office

  • Working in Revit and setting up Construction Document Sets

  • Oversight and management of 1-2 architectural designers and/or design professionals

  • Primary focus on multi-family and housing

Soft Skills

  • Strong visual graphics skills

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 15 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Richmond, Virginia and some days remote.

Work Environment

This consultant will support the Baltimore office. 50/50 management and project support/deliverables. Project Architects are expected to direct and develop 1-2 direct reports professionally. Individual producers don't match the company culture.
