Job Title: Electrician Technician*

Pay: $23-30/hour dependent on experience

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrician Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical equipment and fixtures, troubleshooting motor and control systems, and performing routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures.

• Troubleshoot motor and control systems.

• Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems.

• Drill holes and pull or push wiring through openings using hand and power tools.

• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit (up to 4" PVC/EMT/Rigid).

• Install lighting and receptacles, pathways.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in wiring, installing, and running conduit.

• Troubleshooting electrical systems.

• Pulling wire and interpreting electrical schematics.

• Experience with electrical wiring and control systems.

• Journeyman or technician level experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of electrical experience.

• Open to a mix of apprentice and mechanic level candidates.

• Commercial or industrial experience.

• Blueprint comprehension.

• Experience using basic electrical hand and power tools.

Work Environment

The work is primarily in medical environments such as hospitals and outpatient units, with a focus on renovation and fit-out projects. The role requires a professional appearance, work clothing, and PPE (hard hat, safety vest, gloves, safety glasses, steel or composite-toed boots). Standard day shift hours with a lunch break, currently scheduled for 48 hours per week (Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and an 8-hour shift on Friday). The role is contract-to-hire.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
