Job Description:

As an Electrician Tech, you will install basic electrical equipment and systems adhering to all relevant plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Key responsibilities include running rigid (1.5 inch) pipe to gear boxes, wiring 3-way switches, assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components, and devices. You will also be involved in installing and mounting electronic controls, performing interlock wiring, testing electrical systems, inspecting installation sites, diagnosing malfunctioning systems, directing and training workers, and reading contract drawings. This role requires experience with Electrical Distribution systems, wiring up 480V, installing conduit, wireways, pulling wiring/cables, and terminating cables. You should also be able to read and interpret electrical blueprints and control wiring diagrams.

PAY: $20 - $30/hr

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Ruther Glen, Virginia.

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing setting requiring a hard hat, steel-toed boots, safety vest, and safety glasses. All PPE except steel-toed boots will be provided. The work schedule includes Monday to Thursday from 5:30am to 4pm and Friday from 5:30am to 1:30pm, with potential for overtime in a well-facilitated manufacturing facility.
